Ilulissat and Midnight Sun Iceberg Cruise
Headed out at 5am towards Reykjavik. Stopped by a waterfall halfway for breakfast. Three and a half hour flight to Ilulissat Greenland. Checked in to the Hotel Arctic. Had lunch, napped, walked in to town for a coffee. After dinner, at 9:30, we boarded a good sized open deck boat for a midnight cruise. Sun didn’t set. Saw lots of icebergs, amazing colors. Saw humpback whales in the bay. Back to the hotel around 1:30am.
